I had the BEST haircut here by Mark Smith. He was an excellent stylist and made me feel like a million bucks! I showed him a picture of the style I was going for and he went above and beyond and I've never felt so confident after a haircut. A beautiful salon and great people!

I got my hair trimmed/cut by Brandon, and he is absolutely amazing at what he does! He and the rest of the staff I spoke with were all very personable, and Brandon spoke and worked with an obviously intimate understanding of hair care and styling. I went in for a medium-length trim, and he managed to do a lot even by cutting off relatively little. The products they have on display are neat too if you’re looking for some quality, natural, and local hair goods.

This place is so great. Having moved to Rhode Island recently I had to find a replacement for my wonderful hair guy in Boston, and I found him in Forrest and the crew at Flipp. Wonderful welcoming space, musician-owned, offering a real sense of community. Oh and my haircut is exactly what I needed to get my locks back on track. Already booked my next visit. Thanks Flipp!

Really love this salon. Jo-Anna helped me get the cut I was hoping for and that worked with my hair type. I left feeling great and the haircut has aged to feel great daily since. I bought some botanical shampoo and conditioner that has been great for my sensitive skin and super thick dry-ish hair. Was back there again this week for a bang trim and got more hair products. I drive from over 30min away and it’s so worth it. Great neighborhood to stroll through and explore before and after.

I love this place! I have been looking for a place that uses natural hair color forever and I finally found my home!! They also have natural hair products and skincare. They are also an apothecary so you can get custom tea blends for almost any ailment. Highly recommend!!

I went into my appointment with Mark with an idea of what I wanted for my hair, and left with a cut that was even better than I expected and truly tailored to suit me. Mark is a delight, the salon is a beautiful space, and I will be back for sure!

I've never loved my natural curls until I started going to Flipp! Forrest listens to what I like and knows exactly how to work with it! The conversation is always good an I feel very comfortable there. Jo-Anna, the shop owner, is also super nice! I get so many compliments on my hair now, I would absolutely recommend!
